I attended the Birmingham CASC weekend course in August 2019. This was run professionally with a wide range of excellent and relevant case examples, and plenty of opportunity to practice as well as obtain personalised feedback on my performance. I felt that I really improved throughout the 2 day intensive course both in my exam technique in addition to confidence in demonstrating my knowledge under exam conditions. The actors were of a high standard and psychiatrist facilitators were all approachable and understanding about what is required to pass the CASC. I would recommend the course to anyone sitting their MRCPsych CASC exam.

In the actual exam as you suggested, I imagined all of the scenarios were absolutely real (not an exam at all) & purely focussed on trying my best to help the ‘patient’ in front of me. It was an amazing help to do this & seems to have worked. I found both the course and all your videos & tutorials invaluable - especially your introductory talks at the beginning too on trying to get the right mindset. Thank you very much for your advice. I have passed the exam first time and I found your videos so helpful. I can't emphasise enough how useful your videos were. The structure provided a great guideline and you used incredibly useful phrases especially since I come from Germany which isn't far but still the English way of communicating is different. I am very grateful as it makes life with a baby so much easier with no exams.
I am pleased to let you know that I passed CASC in my first attempt. Birmingham weekend 2 days course, online notes and Dr Mishra's videos has been of great help which made my preparation easy. I managed to pass 15 out of 16 stations. Would recommend the course to all taking CASC exam. I have no words to thank Dr Mishra and the team for the excellent course.
